Random Acts of Kindness & Michaels Craft Store

Random Acts of Kindness Day is Friday, Feb. 17, and to celebrate the spirit of the day and encourage others to participate, Michaels Craft Store will give away more than $100,000 in gift cards at its stores and on its Facebook page.   In celebration of the holiday, Michaels hopes to inspire customers to participate by giving away gift cards at its nearly 1,100 U.S. and Canada stores. The hope is that the recipients will return the act of kindness by either donating their card to a school or church or perhaps purchasing materials to make something special for someone.

Michaels has asked me to participate by sharing a craft and crafting it forward. Come back tomorrow to see what I share and how-to make it!

Michaels is participating in Random Acts of Kindness Week, Feb. 11-17, by asking customers to share their own random acts of kindness.

Gift card recipients will be encouraged to ?craft it forward? and exhibit their own random act of kindness towards another person.
