Add to myYahoo!I have not turned my back on you So there is no need to cry. I'm watching you from heaven Just beyond the morning sky. *I've seen you almost fall apart When you could barely stand. I asked an angel to comfort you And watched her take your hand.* She told me you are in more pain Than I could ever be. She wiped her eyes and swallowed hard Then gave your hand to me. *Although you may not feel my touch Or see me by your side. I've whispered that I love you While I wiped each tear you cried. *So please try not to ache for me We'll meet again one day. Beyond the dark and stormy sky A rainbow lights the way. Authour Unknown

At about 8.30 this morning, a rather handsome looking delivery man saw me at my Saturday morning best - frizzy hair, sleep in my eyes and no bra! Normally the postman is actually a postlady who hates my dog, hence me going to the door is such a bedraggled state ....
Anyway, none of this mattered because the reason for his visit was to make me the proud owner of a Papoozle sling!
Okay, so why the Papoozle?
Well firstly, it seems to be a hybrid of all the other slings on the market, but with the bonus of being an upright carrier. You can feel the quality of this product, it's soft, well made, well packaged and feels great!
It works from birth to toddler - you can use this up to 12kg and to help distribute the load you can wear it in lots of positions (front, back, side and even the breastfeeding position).
What I particularly like about this sling, is the fact it has a padded waist band with safety buckle fastening - my regular readers will know I am a total amateur when it comes to babies. I have a fear I will drown the baby when trying to bath it, or drop it, or do something else of that ilk, so knowing this extra safety precaution is in place makes me feel a lot better.
You don't have to take my word for how lovely this product is either. It has won the Mother & Baby award for Best Sling / Carrier! Always a good indicator of a good product
All I need now is the baby to put in the Papoozle in.... I'll then write a real review! Until then, next time I visit my parents I will take the sling and take a picture of me, the sling and the teddy we practiced putting the nappies on!! :)
You can buy the Papoozle for £49.00 on the TotsBots website, I have the black one.
---
BIG THANKS to @mummytips for the sling, and don't forget to subscribe to her blog. Great blog with all sorts of products on, from gifts for under a tenner (and under a fiver in many cases) as well as the gorgeous Strokke products.
