Add to myYahoo!Well Mink Face,
It has been a very busy day!
You ran around the house like the little nutter you are and then, pooped, you slept for a good two and a half hours! While you were asleep, our friend Ross brought over a wendy house for you and assembled it in the garden (thanks again, Ross!) You were enthralled! You went in and out, you opened the little door and you shut it again, over and over and when you discovered the shutters on the windows, you opened and shut them too, sticking your head right out and grinning madly.
Daddy sent us a text from his fishing holiday in France to say he has already caught a massive fish - the question is, has he peeked too soon? (Or piqued? Neither word seems quite right, but hey).
You ate all your lunch (fish fingers, grated cheese, peas and broccoli is, it would seem, going to be a firm favourite) and manged to get some of the yoghurt that you fed yourself with a spoon, into your mouth!
Then you, me and Seska headed over to Thomas's mum's house where the afternoon of garden games was had. You were a bit shy at first but soon shook that off. You seemed to enjoy the garden, managed to find a cuddly toy to play with and swung on their swing - an adult swing, with no bars, no less, and didn't fall off at all! I was very impressed, once I got over my initial anxiety. Of course Seska enjoyed herself a lot too - there was a great big garden to sniff, tennis balls to chase and obliging people to throw them (and a frisbee) all over the garden for her.
We got home towards the end of the afternoon, and although you were tired, you wouldn't sleep until it was almost time for dinner. I let you sleep for an hour, fed you dinner and then spent much of the evening listening to you cry and sing - you were really excited and couldn't go back to sleep. It's about ten pm now and you have been quiet for about twenty minutes, so I hope that's it for tonight. Please sleep in a bit tomorrow and please don't wake up at four am and sing until six like last night. Please! Because I'm on my own and I need to sleep :-D
Tomorrow we are going to Nanny and Grandad's for coffee in the morning and staying for lunch. We'll take Seska again, I think, which should wear her out a bit (I hope).
I'll post the pictures of the much-loved wendy house later.
Now I'm off to bed, to get some sleep while I can :-D
I miss your Daddy more than I thought I would, but I have you for company, so it's not all bad :-D
Nighty night mink baby,
Love from your Mink Mama

Add to myYahoo!Occasionally we receive messages from visitors regarding the presence of a watery liquid, sometimes yellowish or greenish in colour, that often appears on homemade yogurt. This usually occurs at the end of the fermentation time - before the yogurt is transferred to the fridge. So does the appearance of this liquid mean that there is something [...]

Add to myYahoo!A Lacey woman gave birth this past week and hid her baby, police are still unsure why she would hide the baby. Maybe she didn’t want to be pregnant, let her husband know or a number of other reasons. But should that have made her want to hide her baby? Jessica Wemhaner is being held [...]
