For Xmas my family gave me a scrapbook with all the nomination letters mums and dads wrote to the Council of the Australian of the Year ! I got home two hours ago from the holiday and a certificate was in the mail, to be nominated for this award is such an honour. Thank you to Angel Baby community , i am honoured beyond any words ? angel hugs ?

Recall: Bonsoy Milk

I don’t know how many use Bonsoy milk but since the report came out stating one newborn fell ill I thought it would be important to mention this recall. Bonsoy Soy milk has made 10 people ill, including a newborn and is now recalling the milk

and asking that if you feel ill to go to the doctor’s office.

The product was found to contain unusually high levels of iodine, which may affect the thyroid and cause people to feel unwell, Food Standards Australia (FSA) said.
The milk is being recalled nationally and should not be used by coffee shops, retail and other food outlets, FSA said.
A healthy daily iodine intake is about 80-150 micrograms for adults.
Testing found drinking just one-eighth of a cup of Bonsoy, which is imported from Japan and contains seaweed, would exceed the daily safety limit of 1,100 micrograms, FSA spokeswoman Lydia Buchtmann said.
“These are extremely high levels,” she told AAP.
